The FyzioDesk handbook
Everything a practice needs to know — from the first sign-in to the export for the accountant. The articles are short and written so you can follow them while you work.
You do not have to read them in order. If you are dealing with something right now, go straight to it.
Six steps to get started
- Create clinics and rooms. A clinic is an address, a room is a space.
- Add services with duration, price and preparation between clients.
- Invite the team and say who works at which clinic.
- Set therapists' working hours — free slots are calculated from them.
- Transfer your clients from the previous system, or create them as you go.
- Turn on reminders so clients stop forgetting their appointments.
Covered in detail in First steps.
What FyzioDesk gives you
A calendar that cannot be double-booked. Two people cannot take the same slot — the database enforces it, not good will.
Documentation with history. A visit note is never edited, only versioned. You always see who wrote what and when.
Exercise plans clients actually open. With video, tick-offs and an overview of who is exercising and who is not.
Documents without Excel. An invoice from a visit in two clicks, a QR payment on it and a monthly export for the accountant.
The keyboard shortcut worth learning
⌘K (on Windows Ctrl+K) opens search across the whole application. It finds a client, a screen and an action — "new client", "today", "invoices". It is the fastest route to everything, and you do not need to know where things are to use it.
